We are here to help you find that perfect gift
Meet the girls at Serendipity, Nelson’s first choice for gift baskets and flowers

Serendipity Gift Baskets and Flowers Limited is located at 276 Queen St, Richmond, and is run by Dianne Williams with the help of Marylyn Wastney. Since taking over Serendipity in September 2008, Marylyn and Di have worked hard to grow the business, pooling their creative talents and strengthening its reputation for quality gifts and flower bouquets among local residents and businesses.
“After working together for several years in giftware, it was only natural that, when I decided to go out on my own, Marylyn would come too” says Di. Together they make the perfect team, with Di primarily ordering all the goodies and assembling the baskets and Marylyn helping with the baskets and sourcing and arranging the flowers.
Creating the perfect gift with Serendipity Gift Baskets and Flowers
When you stop by Serendipity’s Richmond showroom, Di and Marylyn will happily guide you through the wide assortment of local and imported goodies they have available, making it easy to create the perfect gift for whoever you need. Or, if you are in a hurry, just phone or email your requirements through and let them put something together for you. They will even outsource key items to make that extra special gift basket.
“The products we use are mostly New Zealand made, and we are continuously adding to our great selection of locally-made items,” says Di. “We want people to feel they are getting value for money, so it’s important to make sure the contents are tasty and interesting, with plenty of choice.”

Serendipity can tailor your gift basket to suit the recipient or any special dietary requirements. “We love a challenge, so we will go out of our way to make sure both client and recipient are happy,” says Di. “We can tailor the contents to suit any age or taste, and will find something that really works for every occasion.” Ask us about our sugar-free gift basket range.
Serendipity provides cut flowers, arrangements, posies and hand-held bouquets to suit any occasion. “Our range of fresh blooms is sourced from local commercial growers,” says Marylyn. “Let us know what you like or simply leave it all to us.”
Flowers can be low-scent for allergy sufferers, or themed to include a favourite colour or tie in with a business logo.
